The Space In-Between

Color operates as memory itself, immediate and nonlinear, carrying sensations that arrive before language or understanding. The figure appears exposed yet unclaimed, present without full recognition, existing between being seen and remaining unknowable. Each form inhabits a state of suspension where clarity has not settled and awareness begins to emerge. The paintings dwell within this threshold of recognition, where the mind encounters what the body has long carried.

The Space In-Between is a series that embeds the body within fragmented abstractions of memory and the many states of processing trauma in the physical realm.
